Foot Pedals
Foot pedals on the rollers do need repair or replacement. The original pedal that comes with the machine utilizes a 10K rotary potentiometer that is prone to failure after a few thousand operations. These pots can be replaced and you can find information on where to purchase the pot on the Misc Parts page.
We do offer a replacement pedal with a linear type pot instead of a rotary type pot. The resistance values are the same but the operation is a push operation instead of a turn operation. The manufacturer of the pedal tells us the service life of this type pot is much longer and the pot is much easier to replace when it does fail.
Our pedals use the same wire colors and wiring configurations so they are a direct replacement for the original factory pedal. These are available at a significant savings over the manufacturers price.
